Located above Città della Pieve’s medieval town walls, this welcoming ground-floor suite’s private garden (30m2/36 sq yd), with its Concord grapevine pergola, is a gloriously shady spot to enjoy an al fresco breakfast or to unwind after a day of visiting local attractions. Deck chairs and a dining table are provided for guests, who are welcome to use the herbs and vegetables growing in the flower beds.

A cosy lounge area in the air-conditioned/centrally heated interior (38m2/45 sq yd) invites guests to curl up with a good book, or linger over coffee or tea from the in-suite facilities.

The double bed is made up with crisp cotton sheets in the summer and a warm duvet in the colder months.

The Garden Suite’s compact bathroom has a roomy shower, a radiator for keeping towels warm and 100% organic toiletries produced in Italy. Light meals can be prepared in the well equipped kitchenette.
